NADFAS Harlow Fundraising
Last year NADFAS Harlow entered into a fundraising partnership with the Utility Warehouse, the ‘Which?’ recommended telephone and energy supplier. Members participating in the initiative have already saved several hundred pounds on their telephone, broadband, electricity and gas bills, and at the same time raised money to support NADFAS Harlow projects. We would like many more members to support this fundraising initiative, which is unique in benefitting both the member and the Charity.
The Utility Warehouse has recently confirmed its position as the UK’s leading integrated utility supplier through further recommendations in ‘Which?’ magazine:
· Recommended as ‘best buy’ for the third successive year in the February 2011 ‘Which?’ report on gas and electricity providers.
· Recommended as ‘best buy’ for the third successive year in the March 2011 ‘Which?’ report on telephone/broadband providers.
· Recommended as one of the UK’s top five ISPs for the second successive year in the March 2011 ‘Which?’ report on internet service providers.
To ensure the continued value of their services, the Utility Warehouse has now announced (the attachment) that it will have the UK’s cheapest telephone, broadband, mobile phone and standard electricity and gas services for householders, or if they can be bettered they guarantee to refund double the difference. We believe that this guarantee allows NADFAS members to support the initiative confident of both excellent service and value for money.
To participate in the initiative, members can either call the Utility Warehouse on Freephone 0800 131 3000, ensuring that they give the NADFAS appeal number – D70140 or alternatively they can visit the NADFAS Harlow hosted website using this link - www.telecomplus.org.uk/D70140 - to see full details of all of the Utility Warehouse services before calling. One of our members, Noel Muddiman, has been working on an initiative involving the Church of England and the Utility Warehouse for the past three years, and so has a lot of detailed knowledge about the company, their services and pricing. Noel is happy to be called by NADFAS members considering supporting the fundraising initiative on 01279 303414, and will also be able to give a very realistic indication over the phone of the savings members are likely to make through the initiative before calling the Freephone number.
