The Queen: Sixty Photographs for Sixty Years Exhibition


Sixty photographs of The Queen, including the work of leading press photographers of the past six decades, which presents a portrait of The Queen's reign as captured in fleeting moments on both official occasions and at relaxed family gatherings. Most of the photographs selected for the exhibition have been submitted by the Royal Rota press organisations.

 

Windsor Castle`s rich history spans almost 1000 years and you can also visit:-

 

Magnificent State Apartments furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection

St George's Chapel (one of the most beautiful ecclesiastical buildings in England and the burial place of 10 monarchs)

Queen Mary's Dolls House, a masterpiece in miniature

The Drawings Gallery

The Gardens and Grounds

 

There are many interesting eating places of all types and tastes, together with shops in the area of the Old Station or in the High Street where lunch can be obtained.  Return passes will be issued by the Castle gate staff should you wish to leave the Castle precinct and return afterwards.

Return travel by coach from pick up points in Harlow or Epping directly to Windsor and back. 

Parking Charges.

Coffee prior to entry to the Castle.

Entrance to Windsor Castle with viewing at will.  Audio Guides available.
